Nokia 701 Details

Pretty similar to the design of Nokia’s fairly popular Nokia C7, the Nokia 701 also boasts of one of the brightest displays in the market today. Similar to the Nokia 700, the 701 is also powered by the 1GHz processor but has a larger 3.5 inch Clearblack IPS display with LED-backlit. The camera is 8 megapixel fixed focus with dual LED flash and is capable of recording 720p videos.

The connectivity on the Nokia 701 too is similar to 700, with quadband GSM, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, NFC, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. The phone comes with plenty of space – 8GB of internal storage and also a front facing camera for video calling.

The display has dramatically increased the weight of the device. The 700 weighs under 100 grams but the Nokia 701 is slightly on the heavier side at 131 grams (most likely because of the metal casing).

The phone runs the Symbian Belle operating system and promises continous music playback of more than 71 hours (which we doubt would be possible in normal circumstances)

The price of the Nokia 700 will be slightly higher than the Nokia 700. It comes in four colors – White, Steel dark, Silver light and Ametyst violet
