The Nokia 600 is a part of 3 other phones announced today in Hongkong. Its also the cheapest of the three smartphones that run the latest Symbian Belle operating system.

The Nokia 600 has a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1GHz processor with 2GB of internal memory for yours music, pictures, videos and other multimedia. Its also equipped with a microSD slot that supports upto 32GB microSD card.

Connectivity options are plenty on the Nokia 600 – 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, Wifi, NFC, GPS, FM Transmitter.. It’s got it all!

The camera is 5 megapixels with LED flash and records 720p videos.

The Nokia 600 will ship later this year and the phone comes in 4 great colors – Pink (girls will love this!), Lime (light greenish), Black and White.

Should you purchase this? Well, it all depends on how you like Symbian. The hardware as usual is powerful, but its the software that has let Nokia down ever since Steve Jobs announced the iPhone way back in 2007.

From the few screenshots and videos of the Symbian Belle that we have seen, it does look promising and Nokia seems to be heavily inspired from Google’s Android operating system.

Still, considering the price, you could give this a try. Remember to check one out in real, if you still like it, then go ahead and buy it.
