Samsung Galaxy Y Pro is an Android smartphone running the latest Gingerbread operating system. It has a 2.6 inch touchscreen (capacitive of course) with a resolution of 320 x 240. The phone is priced in the budget segment and looks to cater at the masses.

The Samsung Galaxy Y Pro is powered by a 883 MHz processor, has a MicroSD slot and supports upto 32GB microSD card (needs to be purchased separately). Even with such a low price, the Android device has plenty of connectivity options – 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, Wifi, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS.

The camera captures images at 3 megapixels and its capable of recording video too.

The Samsung Galaxy Y Pro will be available in stores during the last quarter of 2011 and comes in just one color – Black. The price of the Galaxy Y is expected to be around $200 – $220 in the US and in India it should be available for a four-digit price i.e less than Rs 10,000.
